Anne Sofie Meldgaard (b. 1974) is a Danish painter based on Bornholm. She trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Her work often centres on lush still lifes — especially flowers in pots — as well as everyday objects and female figures. Meldgaard’s paintings mix expressive brushstrokes with structured patterns, exploring colour, form, and the essence of her motifs. Since relocating from Copenhagen to Bornholm, she draws on her surroundings for both creative space and inspiration
